Prepare for Success at Your Audition!
We're excited to help you put your best foot forward as you begin the audition process. Please review the audition materials below carefully. Auditions will take place on September 26th, and performers will be asked to demonstrate their singing, dancing, and acting abilities.
Audition Checklist
Wear all black. We're taking headshots of all performers at auditions. Wear sneakers for safety.
Please be aware, all students who audition will have their measurements taken the day of the audition.
Please come prepared to sing a one minute portion of a song in the style of The Little Mermaid Jr. Not sure what to sing? For support in selecting a song, specific song choices are listed below.
Submit the Audition Prep Form. You'll provide an instrumental track from YouTube to accompany you while you sing. There should not be anyone else singing on the track. The song must be from a musical. You'll also choose a time that you'd like to audition on September 26th.
If you attended the Fall Workshop, practice the choreography and vocals we learned.
Take your time to familiarize yourself with all Audition Materials (all linked below). We might ask you to sing a little from one of the songs from the production, so spend some time listening to these tracks and singing along. You'll read from one of these scenes, if not more than one!
